The MentorPath Immersive Invitation

There is a version of mentor coaching that gets you to the specialization.

And then there is a version that goes further.

This is the version that makes you the mentor coach that coaches talk about years later, the one who saw something in them they couldn't yet see in themselves, who gave them feedback that actually changed how they coach, who held a space they didn't know they needed.

This level of mentor coaching is about seeing differently, listening more precisely, and offering developmental feedback that creates real change in another coach’s practice.

MentorPath Immersive was built for coaches who want to be that mentor coach.

If that resonates, you are in the right place.

Who MentorPath Immersive Is Designed For

MentorPath Immersive is for the coach who has worked hard to get where they are and recognizes that developing other coaches requires the same level of seriousness, care, and craft.

You hold an ACC (with at least one renewal or close to it), a PCC, or an MCC. You are ready to step into mentor coaching as something that matters deeply to you, and not just something you are required to do.

You want to come out of this experience with real confidence in your ability to hold developmental space for another coach. Combining new-found knowledge, your own intuition, and insightful practice you’ll develop a grounded, embodied confidence as you step into the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization designation.

You are someone who, when you commit to something, commits fully.

If you’re sensing that an approach with a lighter touch may be the right fit for you, you can learn more about the MentorPath Essential Path for the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS).

How MentorPath Immersive Is Structured

MentorPath Immersive unfolds in four connected phases.

The Foundation comes first, followed by the Practicum, then Mentoring on Your Mentoring, and finally your personalized asynchronous integration work.

Each phase builds intentionally on the one before it layering skill, awareness, and embodied practice, so that by the end of the program, you will clearly see how far you have developed in your ability to serve as a mentor coach with depth, precision, and presence.

Part One - The Foundation

Five Live Sessions | August 31 – September 16

Every MentorPath Immersive student begins here, in five live sessions that establish the perceptual skills, conceptual frameworks, and observational precision that great mentor coaching is built on.

You will learn to see coaching through a competency lens, not as a checklist, but as a living, dynamic picture of a coach's development. You will develop the feedback frameworks that allow you to be direct without being directive, honest without being harsh, and developmental in every word you offer.

This is the bedrock. Everything that follows is built on it.

ALL Live Sessions are at 6 p.m. Eastern

  • Session 1 - Definitions and Distinctions (Mon, Aug 31)
  • Session 2 - The Whole Coach Lens (Weds, Sept 2)
  • Session 3 - Session Observation Skills (Weds, Sept 9)
  • Session 4 - Developmental Feedback Frameworks Pt. 1 - The Formative Feedback Form (Mon, Sept 14)
  • Session 5 - Developmental Feedback Frameworks Pt. 2 - The Competency Review Feedback Form (Weds, Sept 16)

Part Two - The Practicum

Twelve Observed Sessions + Individual Session with Jille | September 21 – November 4 (no meetings on October 26th and 28th)

This is the heart of MentorPath Immersive. And there is nothing else like it.

Twelve observed mentor coaching sessions. Real coaches. Real sessions. Real feedback, structured reflection, and genuine growth at every step. You will not read about mentor coaching. You will not watch someone else do it. You will do it, repeatedly, with skilled observation and thoughtful developmental support woven into every session.

By the time you complete the Practicum, mentor coaching will be part of your embodied being. It will be something you are.

Each observed session includes async assignments and reflection time, deepening your integration between live sessions and building the deliberate practice that creates lasting skill.

And woven into the Practicum - at a time scheduled just for you - is your private individual session with Jille. Not a group experience or a check-in. But a focused, personal, one-to-one conversation built entirely around where you are, what you're discovering, and what you need to go further.

Sessions 6–17 | Mon & Weds | September 21 – November 4 (no meetings on October 26th and 28th)

Part Three - Mentoring on Your Mentoring

Three Sessions | November 11 – November 18

This is the layer that sets MentorPath Immersive apart from anything else available right now.

Three sessions dedicated entirely to your development as a mentor coach. You will receive direct, skilled, supervisory-level feedback on your own mentor coaching work. You will see yourself clearly, your strengths, your patterns, your growing edge, in a space that is honest, supportive, and deeply developmental.

This is where everything integrates. This is where you stop thinking about mentor coaching and start inhabiting it. This is where you find your voice.

There is a reason the most skilled professionals in every discipline have supervision built into their practice. This is yours.

  • Session 18 — Mentoring on Your Mentoring 1 (Weds, Nov 11)
  • Session 19 — Mentoring on Your Mentoring 2 (Mon, Nov 16)
  • Session 20 — Mentoring on Your Mentoring 3 (Weds, Nov 18)

Part Four - Your Async Library - Personalized to You

MentorPath Immersive includes a rich, curated asynchronous library that completes your education on your own schedule, at your own pace.

The mandatory courses, The MentorPath Core Program and your Capstone Evaluation Project, build the knowledge foundation your MCS application requires. Your required (by ICF) BARS or Markers training at your credential level (ACC, PCC, or MCC) are included in this program and will sharpen the evaluative precision that separates good mentor coaches from exceptional ones. (you can take one, two or all three of the required Bars or Markers Training)

Beyond the required courses, the library is yours to explore and take to complete your 30 hours of asynchronous training.

Choose from:

  • Bias Awareness in Evaluation
  • Ethics and Legal Foundations
  • Reflective Practice for Mentor Coaches
  • The Business of Mentor Coaching

These are invitations to go deeper into the dimensions of this work that matter most to you. They are anything but filler.

Note: 10 Hours or Asynchornous work is mandatory for this program. You may transfer in up to 20 hours of Asynchronous hours including your Your required (by ICF) BARS or Markers training at your credential level (ACC, PCC, or MCC)

Makeup Session

Life happens. If you miss a mandatory live session, a makeup session is available on Thursday, December 6th, open to all Immersive students, so that nothing stands between you and your completion.

When you complete MentorPath Immersive, you will be ready to apply for your ICF Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS) designation at the credential level(s) you're preparing for.

And you will be something more than that.

You will have observed coaching with precision and been observed with care. You will have given developmental feedback and received it. You will have been mentored on your mentoring by someone who has been doing this work for more than twenty-five years. You will have sat with Jille one-to-one and heard exactly what she sees in you.

You will know your mentor coaching presence, what you bring, how you land, where you are growing, and where you are already strong.

The coaches who work with you after this will know the difference. They will feel it, in the quality of your observations, in the precision of your feedback, in the safety of the space you hold for them. And most importantly, in their success as acoach.

That is what MentorPath Immersive gives you.

And that is what you give them.

A Personal Note From Jille Bartolome, MCC

I have been mentor coaching since 2001.

Mentor coaching is my favorite thing I do as a coach. It carries the most profound reach of anything I have ever done in this profession. When a mentor coach shows up with real skill, the coach in front of them grows. When that coach grows, their clients feel it in ways they may never be able to articulate. And when clients feel it, something shifts in their lives that travels further than any of us can track. That is the impact I care about. That is why this work has had my whole heart for more than twenty-five years of the thrity I have been a coach, and why I built MentorPath to honor it.

I have listened to many thousands of coaching sessions, as a mentor coach, as an ICF assessor, at every credential level. I know where coaches get stuck. I know the moment when something shifts and a coach stops performing and starts being. And I know that moment almost never happens by accident.

It happens because someone showed up for that coach with skill, with presence, with sincere developmental intention. It happens because the mentor coach invested in their own excellence.

I built MentorPath Immersive because I wanted to offer the program I wish had existed when I started mentor coaching, that doesn't simply prepare you to qualify, but also prepares you to be the mentor coach that coaches remember for the rest of their careers.

In the more than twenty-five years of mentor coaching work, I have watched coach after coach walk into their credential application with something I can only describe as humble certainty. They knew they were ready. And they were. I think about that a lot when I think about why mentor coaching matters so much to me. When it is done well, with real skill and real presence and genuine commitment to the coach sitting across from you, it shows up in everything they do from that point forward.

That is what MentorPath Immersive prepares you to do.

— Jille Bartolome, MCC
