Requirements for Admittance into Coach School
- Minimum Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. While a college degree is not necessary, many of our students bring some higher education or professional experience. What’s most important is a genuine curiosity and a commitment to personal growth. If learning is a core value for you, you’ll feel right at home here. Many students tell us the program feels as rich and rewarding as a graduate-level experience, without the pressure of traditional academia. Graduates describe it as one of the most meaningful educational experiences of their lives, comparable in depth and impact to a master’s level program
- Have a Desire to Be a Recognized Professional in the Field of Coaching:Â While anyone can call themselves a coach, those who pursue rigorous training, feedback, and real-world practice set themselves apart. They earn trust more quickly, feel more confident in their work, and contribute to the growth and integrity of the profession as a whole.
- Professional Experience :Â Relevant work experience in coaching, management, leadership, or a related field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of professional interactions.
- Application Form:Â Completion of an application form that includes personal information, educational background, professional experience, and a statement of purpose. - Complete this online Application form, including Personal, Professional, and Educational experience. Transcripts are NOT required.
- Strong English Communication Skills Required:Â CoachPath Academy is an immersive, dialogue-based training conducted in English. Because coaching depends on deep listening, clear expression, and nuanced communication, all students must be proficient in spoken and written English.
If English is not your first language, prior experience studying, working, or coaching in English will help ensure you can fully participate and thrive in the program. -
Commitment to Professional Ethics: All students must agree to uphold CoachPath Academy’s Code of Ethics, which is grounded in the internationally recognized standards of professional coaching. Our ethical guidelines are based on the ICF Code of Ethics and are used throughout the program to support integrity, trust, and professionalism in every coaching conversation.

Financial Proof:Â Ability to show economic stability or ability to meet the tuition and associated costs of the program. CoachPath Academy has tuition payment plans, and if the student cannot enroll in the provided plans, the student is not in a place in their life to learn coaching or to become a successful coach.
- Technical Equipment: Must have high-speed internet, a Computer Microphone, a Webcam, and a Zoom Pro Account (Pro is necessary) Must be fully responsible and willing to work through technology issues to participate.
* These requirements are designed to ensure that all participants are well-prepared and likely to succeed in a rigorous and demanding coaching environment
* There are a limited number of spaces available for each cohort so early application is highly recommended.
* Applications are reviewed upon receipt by faculty members and CoachPath Academy directors. Decisions are final and at the sole discretion of CoachPath. Applicants are notified of admission decisions by email shortly after the admission decision is made, which is typically within 14 days of submission.
* A $550.00 application fee is required. If you are accepted into the program, $550.00 of the application fee will be applied to your tuition. If you are not accepted, you will receive a refund of $500.00 within 30 days of the denial notice.

Here are the reasons your application may be denied:
- Insufficient Qualifications
If the applicant does not meet the educational or professional experience requirements set by the academy. - Incomplete Application
Missing documents, unanswered questions, or failure to provide required information can lead to an application being denied. - Failure to Demonstrate Commitment
Applicants who fail to show a genuine interest in coaching or an understanding of what the program entails might not be accepted. - Lack of Alignment with Values
If an applicant’s values or goals significantly diverge from the ethos and objectives of CoachPath Academy. - Lack of Communication Skills
As coaching is heavily reliant on effective communication, inadequate skills in this area might be a reason for denial. - Overcapacity
If the academy has reached its maximum capacity for a given cohort, additional qualified applicants might be deferred or denied. We will do everything we can to accommodate you.
